Answer: जो मनुष्य अपने हित-चिंतन से पहले, दूसरों के हित-चिंतन के बारे में सोचता है, उस व्यक्ति के मरने के बाद भी युगों-युगों तक दुनिया की यादों में बना रहते हैं। ऐसे मनुष्य की मृत्यु को ही कवि ने सुमृत्यु कहा है।
The person who thinks about the welfare of others above all else remains in the memories of the world for ages even after dying. The poet has called the death of such a person as Sumrityu.

Answer:
उदार व्यक्ति परोपकारी होता है। अपना पूरा जीवन पुण्य व लोकहित कार्यो में बिता देता है। किसी से भेदभाव नहीं रखता, आत्मीय भाव रखता है। कवि और लेखक भी उसके गुणों की चर्चा अपने लेखों में करते हैं। वह निज स्वार्थों का त्याग कर जीवन का मोह भी नहीं रखता।
A generous person is charitable. He spends his whole life in virtuous and public welfare works. Does not discriminate against anyone, has a soulful attitude. Poets and writers also discuss its qualities in their articles. He doesn't even keep the fascination of life by sacrificing his own interests.

Answer: उदार व्यक्ति की पहचान यह है कि वह इस असीम संसार में आत्मीयता का भाव भरता है। सभी प्राणियों के साथ अपनेपन का व्यवहार करता है, नित्य परोपकार के कार्य करता है, जिसके हृदय में दूसरों के प्रति सहानुभूति और करुणा का भाव होता है।
The identity of a generous person is that he fills the sense of intimacy in this infinite world. Treats all beings with affinity, does charity work daily, who has a sense of sympathy and compassion towards others.
उदार व्यक्ति दूसरों की सहायता के लिए अपने तन, मन और धन को किसी भी क्षण त्याग सकता है, जो दूसरों की प्राणरक्षा के लिए अपना सर्वस्व न्योछावर करने को तत्पर रहता है।
A generous person can sacrifice his body, mind and wealth at any moment to help others, who is ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of saving the lives of others.
वह जाति, देश, रंग-रूप आदि का भेद किए बिना सभी को अपना मानता है। वह स्वयं हानि उठाकर भी दूसरों का हित करता है। प्रेम, भाईचारा और उदारता ही उसकी पहचान है।
He considers everyone as his own without distinction of caste, country, color etc. He does good to others even after taking loss himself. Love, brotherhood and generosity are his identity.

What message has the poet given for 'humanity' by giving examples of great persons like Dadhichi, Karna etc.?
Answer: कवि ने दधीचि, कर्ण आदि महान व्यक्तियों का उदाहरण देकर मनुष्यता के लिए यह संदेश दिया है कि प्रत्येक मनुष्य को परोपकार करते हुए अपना सर्वस्व त्यागने से कभी पीछे नहीं हटना चाहिए।
By giving example of great persons like Dadhichi, Karna etc. the poet has given this message to humanity that every human being should never hold back from giving up everything while doing charity.
इन व्यक्तियों ने दूसरों की भलाई हेतु अपना सर्वस्व दान कर दिया था। दधीचि ने अपनी अस्थियों का तथा कर्ण ने कुंडल और कवच का दान कर दिया था।
These people had donated everything for the betterment of others. Dadhichi donated his bones and Karna donated the coil and armor.
हमारा शरीर नश्वर है इसलिए इससे मोह को त्याग कर दूसरों के हित-चिंतन में लगा देने में ही इसकी सार्थकता है। यही कवि ने संदेश दिया है।
Our body is mortal, so leaving the attachment to it, it is meaningful only in thinking about the welfare of others. This is the message given by the poet.
